General Update


Now, when I originally started the itch page for Slimes, I really didn't know shit. I emailed keys to people. That's stupid.  Now you should be able to properly request keys if you bought the game and the bonus PDF will be in the game folder. It's not exactly pay-what-you-want anymore, but hopefully everyone that supported the aid bundles Slimes has been  included in should be able to access the updated commercial version! And speaking of, here's a collection of all the new changes:

Bleed now works like how it does in I Hate You, Please Suffer, with enemies taking fixed-ish damage at the end of every turn. This means that bleed is now far more meaningful to inflict on normal enemies while not chewing through boss health. A result of this is that health has generally been rebalanced across the board.

Guns are now rebalanced, too. Wielding a revolver makes Julius faster than everyone else, while he's slower than some enemies with the shotgun equipped. The biggest change though is that his Warning Shot's guaranteed to go last in the turn rotation - gotta risk it a bit before you can get that stun off, now.

Some other noteworthy changes and fixes:

  • Zeus81 fullscreen script added.
  • Calm Aura buffed to raise accuracy. Use it to counter being Blind, or maybe you badly want to land a Bleed on an evasive jerk.
  • Fixed occurrence on Floor 15 where a battle happens twice.
  • Fixed the conversation at the last rest stop repeating on second use.
  • King Slime can no longer berserk self since it removes rest of its moveset.
  • Third boss' backup now revived at full health, though they're capable of being stunned again. Disgusted Slime replaced by a regular Slime.
